Statistica oficiala în România se desfasoara prin serviciile de statistica oficiala si este organizata si coordonata de Institutul National de Statistica, organ de specialitate al administratiei publice centrale, cu personalitate juridica, în subordinea Guvernului, finantat de la bugetul de stat.
Cercetări statistice realizate la începutul şi sfârşitul
anului şcolar (universitar) 2010 în unităţile de învăţământ de toate tipurile, pe forme de proprietate şi niveluri de educaţie.
Datele statistice privind numărul copiilor şi elevilor înscrişi, absolvenţilor şi personalului didactic din învăţământul preuniversitar (preşcolar, primar şi gimnazial, liceal, profesional, postliceal) cuprind şi pe cele din învăţământul special.

Stay@School at the Future of Education Conference
The Stay@School projet will be presented at the third edition of the “Future of Education” international conference, held in Florence, Italy, on 13 - 14 June 2013. Over 250 participants from all over the world will attend the conference. The conference participants belong to the sectors of higher education, school education, vocational education and training as well as adult education, therefore representing all of the target groups of the Stay@School project.
