An inter-agency network, composed by over 70 Vocational Centers (CIPs) located throughout the Basque community has been fighting the risk of socio exclusion of more than four thousand young people since 1985 through Vocational Programmes (PIPs). The teaching approach, which takes into account the project life of each student, is based on a combination of theory and practice.
The analysis based on the experience of these centers focus on three aspects as good practices:
> Having a positive image of students towards the future
> Setting a type of educational relationship based on trust, respect, and standards of living
> Establishing a model that takes into account students’ needs and their life projects
