The book developed from a shared project lead by an area net of schools from upper to lower grade which chose to take the responsibility to play an active role in facing the typical education problems of post-modern global society.
The volume is divided into the following parts:
• To educate in a global world
• school in intercultural cities
• Confusions
• After illustrating the school role and building a map to face the travel towards multicultural school in the first two sections, in its third and last section the book suggests some instruments to face the difficulties connected to the presence of foreign students by using welcome and language teaching strategies

Stay@School at the Future of Education Conference

The Stay@School projet will be presented at the third edition of the “Future of Education” international conference, held in Florence, Italy, on 13 - 14 June 2013. Over 250 participants from all over the world will attend the conference. The conference participants belong to the sectors of higher education, school education, vocational education and training as well as adult education, therefore representing all of the target groups of the Stay@School project.
