How does it work?

After that Valnalon asignes other school-partner with which the students will have to keep in contact in order to sell them their products. During the
Throughout the course, students create a co-operative, provide capital, define their statutes, design a name and logo, distribute tasks and make an organization chart, look for products and suppliers, create a product catalog, buy and sell products, etc. Furthermore, they manage documentation customary in a business environment, such as bank accounts, order forms, business letters, invoices, bills, checks, etc.
-During the first term the students, divided in working groups, decide the name of the company, the type of company (usually a cooperative), the logo, the sector, the product and start to know the other company-school that will be their partners (in order to find out what type of products they could be interested in buying).
-During the second term they have to develop a catalogue of products
-At the third term they have to go to the markets where they intend to sell they products.
During this process the teacher must dynamize the class and help to solve the doubt/obstacles that the students find in their entrepreneurial adventure
It has proven to be usefull to:
• Foster the development of the entrepreneurial spirit (entrepreneurial capacities and attitudes) in secondary education and professional training though the actual practice of specific knowledge, skills and attitudes.
• Provide the students with the basic knowledge for the creation and management of a company through a real and practical experience fostering the cooperative Learning.
Provide the education with a global dimension fostering the cooperation between students and teachers from different educational centers and providing contacts with organizations and companies in the local community.
