Objectives of activities carried out:
To explore the requirements for a module for the training package

To create a training module for Chapter 5 of the training package

To present the module for uploading

Time period:
Autumn period was used to pland an prepare the module

Consultation with European partners took place in january 2009 at the european meeting

Follow up and conclusion of the module took place int he following months

Description of activities carried out:

Consultation with the local team in Mayo Educaiton Centre

Decision to creat video links alongside text for the module

Invitation to students in the local schools to participate in the videos

Seting up of the video scenarios

Execution of filming during the Easter holidays when students were free to participate

Videos edited and uploaded onto the portal with the accompanyin gtext




Outcomes:
chapter 5 of the Training package with accompanying videos

Evaluation of the work undertaken:
The idea of using videos was a creativ idea. It took time and committment to carry out the projet tot he end. It enhanced the chapter bringing a creative element to it. Students who participated were interessted in engagiing in the project. A student carried out the editing of the videos and brougnt them to completion. thus, it was a student orientated paspect of the project which we consider gave it a greater dimension.

The commpleted chapter 5 complements Chapter 1 of the Trainign Package and gives an opportunity to explore the topic from a different perspective
