WPs concerned:
WP 1 - Collection of Information and Production of Reports

Objectives of activities carried out:
1. Production of a 'National Report'
2. Creation of a national work group
3. Analysis of the situation in the UK in respect of school 'drop outs'
4. Undertake five 'Case Studies' interviews to link 'real life'
experiences with published articles on the subject of school 'drop
outs'
5. Production of final version of the Transnational Report

Time period:
May 2008 - September 2008

Description of activities carried out:
Activities carried out in respect of WP 1

1) Further internet & published material research

2) Reviewed UK National Report to make a final version

3) Circulated the finished UK report to project partners and contacts
made during report writing

4) Language check of the Transnational Report written by CIPAT and
incorporated amendments suggested by other partners to create a final
transnational version


Outcomes:
1. Final version of National Report completed
2. Final version of Transnational Report completed

Evaluation of the work undertaken:
Happy with the finished reports but recognise that they could soon become out of date given the anticipated continued rapid changes in education.

Positive feedback from readers of the reports.
