Project's period (from/to):
Jan 2009 - March 2009
WPs concerned:
WP 5 - Test of the Training Package

Objectives of activities carried out:
To recruit 10 teachers, from at least three different schools, to test the training modules.

To arrange for each of the recruited teachers to produce one 'teacher's experience' report for the web site

To test each training module and enter comments and recommendations on the forum

Time period:
Jan 2009 - March 2009

Description of activities carried out:
1) Recruited a total of eleven teachers from three different schools
2) Completed teacher registration forms, including personal photographs
and school photographs
3) Planned and organised the first two workshops on Modules 1 & 2
4) Carried out Workshop 1
5) Produced and submitted report of Workshop 1
6) Produced and entered onto the forum a group comment on Module 1
7) Reviewed comments on the forum, on Module 1, from teachers in
partner school's workshop groups
8) Clarified any areas of concern for participating teachers and
advised how to enter individual comments onto the forum
9) Explained what is required for 'Teacher's Experiences'
10)Explained to teachers what is meant by 'dissemination' and asked
for support in disseminating project information.

Outcomes:
1) The required number of teachers and schools have been recruited from
3 different schools
2) Workshop one held successfully and a detailed report submitted
3) Group comments on Module 1 entered on the forum
4) Feedback on Module 1 collated and used to write revised version of
the module
5) Teachers have began dissseminating project information

Evaluation of the work undertaken:
Outcome was highly satisfactory. After initial difficulty in recruiting required numbers of teachers from different schools, once recruited, all activities have been successfully completed.

Evaluation of the workshop showed that participants found the workshop to be of value and comments made were useful for the project overall.
