Description of Dissemination Event:
The event was a conference organised by the Department for Children, Schools and Families on 'Delivering for at risk and challenging young people'. Speakers included Beverley Hughes, Minister of State for Children and Young People. Workshops were on 'Reducing the need for exclusion and improving attendance through joint working with other services; Early identification, assessment and intervention; Raising the participation age and tackling NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training)through the 14-19 reforms;

Target group:
The target audience was Head Teachers, Directors of Children's Services, Strategic Youth Leaders, those across the UK who are involved with 'School Inclusion'.

Outcomes and Results:
This was an important national event and the opportunity was take to disseminate the project to as many of those attending as possible. The organisers have also been asked to circulate the project web site to all attendees. In addition to the dissemination and useful contacts made, the conference was also a valuable source of information which is relevant to the project.
