Il testo fornisce i riferimenti teorici e gli strumenti operativi per avviare un progetto di educazione alle life skills (le competenze psicosociali) utilizzando la metodologia dell'educazione tra pari. Utilizzare l'educazione tra pari significa scegliere una strategia educativa efficace per creare nei diversi contesti educativi nuove dinamiche relazionali, un coinvolgimento maggiore dei giovani e una vera condivisione degli obiettivi formativi. Infatti sviluppare le life skills attraverso l'educazione tra pari può incrementare i livelli di autostima ed innescare circuiti virtuosi tra capacità e sentimenti del proprio valore.

COMMENTO SULLA PUBBLICAZIONE:

Fra gli strumenti per intervenire sul disagio scolastico e l'abbandono, la peer education costituisce una delle strategie più efficaci da adottare sia nel gruppo classe sia in generale come metodologia di lavoro

Stay@School at the Future of Education Conference

The Stay@School projet will be presented at the third edition of the “Future of Education” international conference, held in Florence, Italy, on 13 - 14 June 2013. Over 250 participants from all over the world will attend the conference. The conference participants belong to the sectors of higher education, school education, vocational education and training as well as adult education, therefore representing all of the target groups of the Stay@School project.
