DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

The authors report an experience of intervention / training in a “School Reintegration Service" (SAS) in the Liège region, through a quality approach inspired by the ISO 9004-2 norm.

This quality approach is based on 4 key factors: the needs of drop-out actors, effective practices validated by research, human and material resources as well as theoretical models.
Researchers think that socio-educational quality actions must take into account the four factors simultaneously.
On this basis they supported for two years the "Compas Format" SAS of Seraing.

COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION:

The intervention of the researchers took place during the school years 2007-2008 and 2008-2009, in the form of training and supervision days aimed at supervisors of SAS.

The quality approach allowed structuring reflection and participated in the improvement of accompanying measures of the students who drop-out.

This university intervention also led to a partnership with Switzerland. Exchanges of good practices have taken place between the "Compas Format" SAS of Seraing and "Relay classes" of Freiburg.
