Fighting school dropout and improving the quality of education are government priority in Spain. However, it is a paradox that radical cuts are applied on the education system.

COMMENTO SULLA PUBBLICAZIONE:

The article underlines the importance to increase the number of teachers and improve their working condition in terms of salary and working hours per week. However, some studies demonstrate how increasing the salary and diminishing the working hours doesn’t necessary guarantee good quality of education. Government should then review other important aspects such as the learning conditions, curriculum content, initial and ongoing training, teaching methodology and inadequate buildings.
