A great amount of research on school-dropout has studied the different psychological, social and economic factors that have an influence on it. Nevertheless, since these data have not helped us solve the problem, the author proposes a new approach, consisting of explaining not school-leaving but school-attendance rather, and continuation of studies into further education.

COMMENTO SULLA PUBBLICAZIONE:

Without giving the proper management of the agents involved in education (teachers, parents, law, public administration, ...) raises the importance of education management from the municipalities, appeals to the importance of citizenship as a way close to deal with problems and training needs of their adolescents.

Stay@School at the Future of Education Conference

The Stay@School projet will be presented at the third edition of the “Future of Education” international conference, held in Florence, Italy, on 13 - 14 June 2013. Over 250 participants from all over the world will attend the conference. The conference participants belong to the sectors of higher education, school education, vocational education and training as well as adult education, therefore representing all of the target groups of the Stay@School project.
