ACTIVITIES REPORT

WP 5 - Test of the Training Package

Objectives of activities carried out:
To recruit teachers from at least three different schools to test the training package.

To undertake five separate workshops, one for each module and then submit / enter group comments / recommendations on the forum and submit a workshop report.

To arrange for each recruited teacher to produce one 'teacher's experience' report for the web site and also to enter at least two comments on other teacher's experiences.

To undertake a questionnaire / survey amongst the teachers to be used to complete and submit a Portal evaluation

Description of activities carried out:

2) Workshops held, and comments entered on the forum
3) Workshop reports produced and submitted
4) Module 1 amended in the light of forum comments
5) 11 teacher experiences entered on the portal
6) All participating teachers commented on at least two
other 'experiences'
7) Portal evaluation report submitted based on 11 questionnaires
completed

Evaluation of the work undertaken:
Very worthwhile activities undertaken in a professional manner. All workshops were constructive and approached seriously by the teachers who had 'done their homework' before each one and came with constructive and useful comments to improve the overall training package.

Similarly all teachers too time to complete the portal evaluation questionnnaire and this enabled a detailed report to be prepared and submitted.

Teachers were grateful for the fact that even though some of their module comments and suggestions were perhaps less than positive, they were taken constructively by the relevant partner.
