Le décrochage scolaire revêt des réalités de terrain diverses et éminemment subjectives. Il s’agit d’un phénomène complexe qui peut entraîner de graves conséquences aussi bien pour les jeunes décrocheurs que pour la société dans son ensemble. Il touche de plus en plus de jeunes dans de nombreux pays européens.
L’ouvrage est dédié à cette problématique. Il présente une analyse croisée, interdisciplinaire et transversale du décrochage scolaire.
Il reprend les contributions de nombreux acteurs, afin d’apporter les outils nécessaires pour une meilleure compréhension du décrochage scolaire et de mettre en évidence les pistes possibles d’action.
Il s’agit de comprendre le phénomène pour agir en faveur de l’accrochage scolaire.
Cet ouvrage a été réalisé sur la base des interventions, débats et réflexions qui ont émergé lors du colloque « Décrochage scolaire : quelles solutions? » organisé le 16 mars 2007 par l’association.
Il se penche sur le problème du décrochage scolaire en explorant ses enjeux pour l’école et la société. Il comporte de nombreux témoignages qui relatent l’expérience d’acteurs de terrain.

Stay@School at the Future of Education Conference
The Stay@School projet will be presented at the third edition of the “Future of Education” international conference, held in Florence, Italy, on 13 - 14 June 2013. Over 250 participants from all over the world will attend the conference. The conference participants belong to the sectors of higher education, school education, vocational education and training as well as adult education, therefore representing all of the target groups of the Stay@School project.
