DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

Este estudio tiene como objetivo general, por un lado, analizar los estudiantes en riesgo de fracaso escolar y, en segundo lugar, identificar y priorizar los factores que lo provocan, con el propósito de hacer aportaciones que se pueden tomar cuenta desde las políticas educativas orientadas a la reducción del mismo.

Entre los objetivos específicos del estudio están los siguientes:
1) El enfoque conceptual del fracaso escolar
2) El análisis de las principales características de los estudiantes en riesgo
3) El análisis y priorización de los factores que explican el riesgo de fracaso escolar en la escuela secundaria, individual, social e institucionalmente
4) La descripción de las consecuencias individuales y sociales del fracaso escolar
5) El análisis de las principales tendencias de las políticas públicas en educación, y de las buenas prácticas educativas

COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION:

Bien documentado y exhaustivo análisis de las situaciones de fracaso escolar, los factores micro y macro que lo causan, y algunas ideas de por dónde deben ir las soluciones.

Stay@School at the Future of Education Conference

The Stay@School projet will be presented at the third edition of the “Future of Education” international conference, held in Florence, Italy, on 13 - 14 June 2013. Over 250 participants from all over the world will attend the conference. The conference participants belong to the sectors of higher education, school education, vocational education and training as well as adult education, therefore representing all of the target groups of the Stay@School project.
