I dati sull'apprendimento imperfetto - come viene definita nel volume la dispersione scolastica - sono sotto gli occhi di tutti: nel nostro sistema di istruzione, uno studente su quattro non arriva al diploma, mentre il tasso medio di dispersione ha raggiunto il 21%; quasi il 50% degli studenti viene promosso con uno o più debiti. Non da ultimo, il rapporto Ocse 2006 relega il nostro paese solo poco prima della Turchia nelle competenze matematiche e nella lettura di un testo scritto. Sono dati che mettono in evidenza un sistema educativo "debole", tale da richiedere interventi da "emergenza culturale": forti investimenti e strumenti innovativi di riforma. È dentro a questo contesto che va visto il Decreto Ministeriale n. 80 del 3/10/2007 sul recupero e la Legge di innalzamento dell'obbligo di istruzione a 16 anni: interventi normativi che hanno entrambi la finalità di elevare la qualità dei processi formativi e combattere la dispersione scolastica. Questo libro si configura come uno strumento di lavoro e di sostegno ai docenti impegnati nel progettare gli interventi di recupero.

Stay@School at the Future of Education Conference

The Stay@School projet will be presented at the third edition of the “Future of Education” international conference, held in Florence, Italy, on 13 - 14 June 2013. Over 250 participants from all over the world will attend the conference. The conference participants belong to the sectors of higher education, school education, vocational education and training as well as adult education, therefore representing all of the target groups of the Stay@School project.
