Nella società della conoscenza, quale quello attuale, sale alla ribalta il concetto di equità, che implica la capacità di individuare disuguaglianze giuste e ingiuste, per realizzare una migliore distribuzione delle conoscenze, per resistere alla privatizzazione in corso del sapere e concorrere alla costruzione di una società giusta.Nel volume viene presentata una serie di ricerche che esplora il tema della misurazione e della valutazione del grado di equità dei sistemi scolastici sotto vari aspetti: dalla dimensione macro a quella micro, dall'indagine comparativa a livello europeo a quella nazionale, mettendo in correlazione fattori extrascolastici (sociologici ed economici) e fattori interni alla scuola stessa.

Stay@School at the Future of Education Conference

The Stay@School projet will be presented at the third edition of the “Future of Education” international conference, held in Florence, Italy, on 13 - 14 June 2013. Over 250 participants from all over the world will attend the conference. The conference participants belong to the sectors of higher education, school education, vocational education and training as well as adult education, therefore representing all of the target groups of the Stay@School project.
