DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

Nowadays the education and training system should focus on the student welfare which is essential for the person's development. Therefore it is necessary to train the staff and design tools that can help the schools facing this important and difficult challenge. The book, addressed to teachers and psychopedagogy experts, describes some actions carried out by the Veneto Regional Board on early school leaving in order to promote them at regional and local level and to support educational and training programmes for the prevention of distress and the promotion of the young people welfare.

COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION:

This volume is edited by Fernando Cerchiaro, president of the Board and Elena Zambianchi, Secretary of the Board. It represents a valuable effort to document and summarises the path done so far.

Stay@School at the Future of Education Conference

The Stay@School projet will be presented at the third edition of the “Future of Education” international conference, held in Florence, Italy, on 13 - 14 June 2013. Over 250 participants from all over the world will attend the conference. The conference participants belong to the sectors of higher education, school education, vocational education and training as well as adult education, therefore representing all of the target groups of the Stay@School project.
