Nowadays the education and training system should focus on the student welfare which is essential for the person's development. Therefore it is necessary to train the staff and design tools that can help the schools facing this important and difficult challenge. The book, addressed to teachers and psychopedagogy experts, describes some actions carried out by the Veneto Regional Board on early school leaving in order to promote them at regional and local level and to support educational and training programmes for the prevention of distress and the promotion of the young people welfare.
This volume is edited by Fernando Cerchiaro, president of the Board and Elena Zambianchi, Secretary of the Board. It represents a valuable effort to document and summarises the path done so far.
