DESCRIPTION OF CONTENTS:

The EU Commission has decided to launch an emergency plan against dropout of school in order to help Member States to achieve the main objective of Europe 2020 to reduce it below 10%.

COMMENTS ON THIS PUBLICATION:

In order to fight against the dropout of school, the Commission is promoting a kind of approach which takes into account economic, social and labor aspects rather than just educational dimension. In this perspective the school role is seen in a broader context with a greater emphasis on basic educational skills directly related to future qualification.

Stay@School at the Future of Education Conference

The Stay@School projet will be presented at the third edition of the “Future of Education” international conference, held in Florence, Italy, on 13 - 14 June 2013. Over 250 participants from all over the world will attend the conference. The conference participants belong to the sectors of higher education, school education, vocational education and training as well as adult education, therefore representing all of the target groups of the Stay@School project.
