Work undertaken by researchers from Lancaster University on behalf of Blackpool Borough Council to:
establish good practice in identifying and working with children 'missing from education'; inform the development of preventative services to avoid children going 'missing from school'; understand obstacles preventing more work being done both to find and to work with such children

COMMENTO SULLA PUBBLICAZIONE:

Interesting quite early research into school 'drop outs' and the underlying causes. Disappointingly all of the conclusions from the research still apply today and this is an indicator of how difficult it is to find a permanent solution to the problem.

Stay@School at the Future of Education Conference

The Stay@School projet will be presented at the third edition of the “Future of Education” international conference, held in Florence, Italy, on 13 - 14 June 2013. Over 250 participants from all over the world will attend the conference. The conference participants belong to the sectors of higher education, school education, vocational education and training as well as adult education, therefore representing all of the target groups of the Stay@School project.
