This research has two parts: a theoretical framing of the issue of drop-out followed by research-action itself.
It has two objectives:
• Developing original and concrete tools to facilitate the interactions and communication for the actors concerned by absenteeism and drop-out
• Accompanying the SAS of Mons with a transfer of the experience of SAS "Compas Format" of Liège, for the optimization of structural, organizational and functional resources, and this with the aim at creating a SAS in La Louvière.
The progress of this research is in parallel and in synergy with research-action entitled "How to mobilize the resources of actors to encourage a faster and more appropriate support for minors in situation of absenteeism or drop-out? Towards a common reference.
(see publication data presenting the study)
Research-action developed by the two universities at the request of the Minister for Education, at the start of the experience of Liège and the procedures implemented by the Province of Liège to "promote an optimal deployment of SAS (school reintegration services) in its territory".
