In the first part, the document addresses school drop-out in its broadest definition: lack of motivation, lack of interest in learning, failures, absenteeism, but also violence, addiction, social origin, immigration, ...,

In the second part, the document addresses the issue of remediation, "the school otherwise." It offers courses of action and reflection and shows association initiatives to "reintegrate" who drops out (homework schools...)

COMMENTO SULLA PUBBLICAZIONE:

In this document, actors of the school and outside environment bring their contribution and scientists deliver the result of their research: observations, causes, consequences, proposals, studies, testimonials, field experiences ...

School drop-out is discussed without taboo, but with nuances.

Stay@School at the Future of Education Conference

The Stay@School projet will be presented at the third edition of the “Future of Education” international conference, held in Florence, Italy, on 13 - 14 June 2013. Over 250 participants from all over the world will attend the conference. The conference participants belong to the sectors of higher education, school education, vocational education and training as well as adult education, therefore representing all of the target groups of the Stay@School project.
